A Doula is a non-medical professional who provides physical, emotional, and informational support to individuals and their families during pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
A doula IS NOT a medical professional and does not provide any medical support. Doula care aims to empower birthing and postpartum people, enhance their sense of control, and promote positive experiences by offering personalized guidance, comfort measures, advocacy, and reassurance throughout the entire birthing journey.
Hi there! We’re Haylee and Sharina, the heart and hands behind Boise Birth Village. Together, we bring years of experience as doulas, mothers, and passionate advocates for families. Our mission is simple: to create a supportive community where every family feels empowered, informed, and deeply cared for throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
